COVERAGE PERIOD
This warranty is valid for a period of 12 years from the date of original installation. It applies to all residential windows and doors
purchased from Caliside Window & Door Inc.
For Pergola products, we provide 10 years warranty on the Structure and 2 years on the electrical related parts.
SCOPE OF COVERAGE
Frame and Structure
The warranty covers any defects in the material or workmanship of the window or door frames (e.g., warping, cracking, or corroding) during the warranty period.
GLASS UNITS
The warranty includes coverage for seal failure, which results in condensation, moisture, or dust between glass panes in double- or triple-glazed windows. This warranty does not cover minor visual imperfections, such as slight distortions or minor blemishes, that do not impair normal vision.
HARDWARE
All hardware components, such as locks, handles, rollers, and hinges, are covered against mechanical failure due to faulty materials or workmanship.
FINISHING
Paint finishes and coatings on frames and hardware are warranted against peeling, flaking, or significant fading during the 10-year period.
Exclusions from Coverage
Warranty Claims Process
In the event of a warranty claim, the homeowner must notify Caliside Window & Door Inc. in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect. The notification must include a description of the issue and provide proof of purchase.
Caliside Window & Door Inc. reserves the right to inspect the product in question before approving any repair or replacement.
Resolution of Warranty Claims

Limitations of Liability
Caliside Window & Door Inc. shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to, loss of use of the product, loss of time, inconvenience, or any other indirect costs related to product failure.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as outlined above. Under no circumstances shall the liability of Caliside Window & Door Inc. exceed the original purchase price of the product.
Glass Condensation
Condensation on the interior or exterior surface of the glass is not a defect and is not covered under this warranty. It typically occurs due to varying humidity and temperature conditions and does not indicate a faulty window or door.
Color Variations
Minor color variations or slight fading over time due to exposure to natural elements are considered normal and are not covered under this warranty, as long as they do not affect the structural integrity or functionality of the product.
